Frome Consort are drawn from the same group of chamber players, and formed in 2017 to play the works of J S Bach and his contemporaries, and are rapidly building a reputation for lively and expressive Baroque interpretation on modern instruments. As Frome Consort they perform annually in the Frome Festival and as Bath Baroque the group play regularly at Ilminster Arts Centre. There is a smaller ensemble: recorders, oboe & continuo who regularly give concerts in country churches, including at Westonzoyland for Music on the Levels.
