Songs from the Shows

Hannah Drury, accompanied by Jacquelyn Bevan, will perform some of the best-known songs from Miss Saigon and Phantom of the Opera, along with other well-loved numbers, and Carole Jenner-Timms (flute) will play jazz standards by Gershwin and others. All ages welcome, including families. Cafe seating, refreshments on sale. Entrance is free with a retiring collection, and the concert lasts approximately an hour.

The American Collection: Trio Paradis at the Bennett Centre, Frome

NEW SERIES  Jacquelyn Bevan (piano), Lisa Betteridge (violin) & Linda Stocks (cello) perform a programme of music by American composers, including Gershwin, Copland, Amy Beach and other less well-known such as Blair Fairchild and Horatio Parker.  The concert lasts c45 minutes and is suitable for all ages. Refreshments on sale, cafe style seating. Entry is free with a retiring collection.

Flute duo Malcolm Pollock and Carole Jenner-Timms, accompanied bypianist Jacquelyn Bevan, will play a programme of light classics, including music by Cimarosa, Arthur Sullivan, Madeleine Dring and Doppler. A Little Night Music with Trio Paradis

Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan – piano, Lisa Betteridge – violin & Linda Stocks – cello) play music inspired by the night, including Barcarolle,   Quiet Night of Quiet Stars, Night & Day, Stardust and Send in the Clowns from A Little Night Music. All ages welcome, including families. Cafe seating, refreshments on sale. Entrance is free with a retiring collection, and the concert lasts just under an hour.

Mendip Trio: A Song & Dance

Mendip Trio (Carole Jenner-Timms - flute, Simon Naylor - oboe & Jacquelyn Bevan – piano) present a lively programme of songs and dances from the Baroque to the present day, with plenty of variety. Music includes movements from a trio sonata by Quantz, Songs of the Americas by William Grant Still, and Suite Bourgeoise by Malcolm Arnold (including the Waltz from the St Trinian's films) and more. All ages welcome, including families. Cafe seating, refreshments on sale. Entrance is free with a retiring collection, and the concert lasts about 45 minutes.
