Here are some of the exciting arts events in the Somer Valley this summer.

 

Highlights include:

 

Sunday, 28th May  Round-about Radstock

A community arts afternoon organised by DNA Arts .Back by popular demand, this year’s Round-about Radstock boasts a full day of free arts activities, workshops, performance, live music, dance, street theatre and food from 12-6pm taking place in unusual and often unseen locations across the town

Friday, 24th June, 7.30pm Puccini Madam Butterfly

at Midsomer Norton Town Hall.

Sunday, 26th June 7.30pm Handel Acis & Galatea

Following on from the 'sell-out' success of Purcell's Dido & Aeneas last June, our second 'pay-what-you-think-it's-worth opera at Victoria Hall, Radstock. Directed by Neil Moore this promises to be a very special evening, with professional soloists joined by Midsomer Choral Society.

Wesley Methodist Hall, Paulton, 10.45-11.30am

Community concerts - all welcome - at Paulton's beautiful Wesley Hall. Coffee & cakes on sale from 10am. Entrance by donation.

First Friday lunchtime Paradis Palm Court Trio at

Midsomer Norton Town Hall, 12.30-1.30pm

Our Palm Court Trio series continues throughout the summer, with a variety of music to suit all tastes, from classical to jazz, pop and songs from the shows. If you've never been to a concert before, this series is for you! Rosemary's delicious home-made cakes, and tea & coffee on sale from 12 noon.
